Outstanding reporting, Shaner!

I thought the WB St mess was because someone found a vacant, affordable apartment for rent in Worcester.

This missive was just chock-full of juicy material.

For example, ADA Gagne: “By all accounts, what appears to have been sprayed or splashed upon the main victim was water. I don’t believe I could prove that charge. I don’t think it would be proper to keep it open.”

“… the main victim …” Really? Victim ... more than one? It just gets stoopidah and stoopidah.

As you so appropriately noted, “Cruelty not just for the sake of it, but out of some perverse need to manufacture victimhood—a round of the ‘oppression olympics’ these guys will happily accuse the ‘snowflakes’ of engaging in.”

Simply put: in a blizzard of stoopid, every snowflake is just the same.

And, keeping it stoopid, from U.S. Arms Company: “…Our standard and short barrel M4’s for law enforcement are …” Is that a possessive on M4s? Just wondering.

Too busy to help a Worcester resident in potential danger because they’re ALL playing with their toys right now. Fucking unreal. Thank you for the detailed report on this ridiculous situation.

yeah thank you for picking up on that. So crazy they were presented with a situation in which actual public safety was in question and they were just like nahhhhh lets just play with our toys

I was taking my kid to his haircut over there and got diverted onto 290, then saw the SWAT truck going by in Lincoln sq. And thought “here we go”. Anyone who was in that building is lucky the cops didn’t off them by accident. Jesus.

Based on the transcript you assembled and the video evidence from Craig Semon, it is safe to say that area law enforcement is currently at the top of their game in Worcester, Shrewsbury, and all the other little bergs in the region. Take heed, geese, and come out with your wings over your heads; you don't have a chance.

Thanks for sharing information about Spring's situation (and her Venmo). I hadn't realized she'd lost her job, I thought she'd "only" had to deal with the stress of having a BS charge hanging over her. Just awful, malicious, culpable dishonesty on the part of the cops. In an ideal world none of this would happened at all, but failing that I hope she gets made financially whole by a lawsuit.
