April 29 Finance, Operations and Governance (FOG) Standing Committee Meeting.
The next Finance, Operations and Governance meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 4:45pm at the Durkin Administration Building. There are four topics for the meeting:
The third quarter budget report projects a deficit for the end of the school year of -$250,000. Health insurance, out of district transportation, and out of district tuition continue to have the largest deficits. There is a new $1.5 million projected surplus in instructional materials and in the report it explains that once the district realized the deficit, they put a freeze on some accounts which “did not result in any loss of materials for students and grant sources were utilized.” The administration is proposing the following transfers:
A proposed cell phone and airpod use policy.
Review of the service animal policy.
Review of the student handbook to make changes for next year.
