I think it's fair to say that Bill and I have become closer friends as a result of doing Outdoor Cats, which has been yet another delightful outcome of doing it.
I used to assign - "go spend a day in court and write a reflection paper" as a possible mental health assignment when I taught at WSU for the reasons you mention. Eye opening to be sure!
