FWIW I also love the ambient noise in the porch studio. The wind was pleasant white noise this episode and the episode where your neighbor was having a birthday party or something made me genuinely emotional about hearing the joy of strangers transmitted across time and space.

Thank you for saying so! Chris and I were just talking last night about what the bleed of background noise adds to the finished product. Really appreciate hearing you agree cuz I love it but it’s certainly breaking a big podcasting rule lol. There’s an episode of trillbilly workers party with Bonnie prince billy a couple months ago where they’re on his porch and you can hear birds chirping the whole time. Serene. Ever since then I’ve been extremely pro background noise. Gotten to the point I’m recording field audio for the sake of it haha. Send me an email if you wanna hear that trillbilly ep it’s a paid only but I’ll grab it for you

Here's a clip to watch from the KNEECAP set about why they had to do this show remote from Ireland.

Solid podcast, guys. The atmosphere at the debate was trippy. Like 1:30 AM when the lights come on at the bar. Lots of folks looking for a fistfight. David Webb continues to lead the league in ATOs (almost thrown outs). My kind of infamy, David.

Several months back Etel told folks from her seat on the council floor that she, "was not a customer service representative for the DPW". Or something along those lines. Jose Rivera concluded his final words of the debate with, "I will be your customer service representative." Yep, that's Tim Murray's guy.
