My memories of Spags go back 50 years. Anthony DID NOT buy stuff falling off trucks, as suggested by Kool Kojak. Quite the contrary. He was a retail genius in his day, and his remarkable success is a story worth reading up on.
Regarding KK, making him part of the podcast is a plus. Maybe Doug Stanhope can be next. (But never on the rare occasion when he's sober.)
Please continue to keep TBD II very much in the news. He asked for it. I'm not aware of any court date for the lawsuit, but Etel's 2/10 trial date will likely create a confluence of animosity towards the aggrieved Local 911 President. Release the Epstein Files.
Finally, the podcast was overshadowed by a, "we don't want to get sued" vibe. Love it! Insanity begets insanity. You two matter. Keep it up.
This is the closest I’ve come to that scene in That Thing You Do where they hear themselves on the radio unexpectedly bc although we have been played on terrestrial radio I dont listen to it and also knew it was coming, so thank you! That was extremely cool for me!
Incredibly stoked on wicked Worcester, tho I never went to spags I did frequent and dearly miss building 19 & 1/2 in burlington. Nothing like following yr mom around a year round indoor flea market whenever she needed three wildly disparate items for cheap.
Tysm my dude, i hope the record hits for you it ranges pretty far afield of any one sound. Cannot overstate how cool it was to be outro music and also how substantial the support of ordering a record is, truly
I've listened to most of the other stuff on Bandcamp and part of what I really like is it sounds like several different good bands. Really happy to have my hands on the record, woulda been blasting it already but setting up my real stereo in my new space properly is going to be a bit of a project.
Also whatever I paid for the record was frankly real cheap for not just the music but the nice vinyl, art, and inserts. A lot of more resourced bands don't bother.
Hey, finally got my stereo fully set up after my move and I wanted you to know that I have the vinyl BLASTING and my wife just came in and was like "Whoa, who is this band?!?"
Spag also used to carry a huge amount of change in his pockets and it would jingle as he walked.
tarantino level character detail hahah
Good show guys! Daddy's little boy looking at a blow torch lol.
hahahahah omg. We gotta get daddy's little boy to stick

Hey, we don't wanna get sued! Don't sue us! We're just a humble comedy podcast and we like to think a lot about theoretical Greek performance.

I genuinely earnestly love this song.

Sincerely tysm my dude, “it sounds like several different good bands” may be our new hype quote tbh
