I feel like this show is kinda listening to Bill’s sanity slowly erode under the incessant waves of absurdity American life provides and while I will absolutely keep listening if you guys ever need to take a mental health break its more than understandable.
Also does this mean that Worcester is THEE Raccoon City as made famous by the Umbrella Corporation????
The closing track is also the closing track of Daft Punk's final album, Random Access Memories. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. I could do an entire episode about how it is the perfect swan song for a group that pulled from disco to sample, became what they became, and then went out on top putting together one of the most beautiful albums ever made, and bringing in musicians from Todd Edwards to Julian Casablancas to Nile Rodgers to do it. It's a fucking masterpiece.
I think the raccoon research needs to continue before we can announce any findings.
The CHL stuff exposes a much larger problem. No doubt the correspondence from Gordon Benson to his staff could have been more direct, and therefore, more sincere. "Help you with your options"? You can apply for unemployment on Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday, or wait a minute, you can apply on-line right now. - Brent Rutland
Also, as someone who went through this last year, if there is an issue with unemployment it may take months and having to contact your state rep to correct it. The entire thing is a mess.
