When you dismantle the HRC and ignore public demand for a civilian review board and dismiss the DOJ report as "words on paper" and propagate conspiracy theories about another councilor in a shameless attempt to discredit the taxpayers seeking a modicum of accountability after spending $10 million of OUR money on settlements instead of fixing the fucking roads, you make it very obvious that you're okay with police corruption and brutality and will do everything possible to protect them from even a whiff of accountability.

At Large Councilor Bergman, he of the "trust but verify" oxymoronic philosophy, outdid himself in a recent article in the Worcester Guardian about Worcester history: “Toe to toe, Worcester history is as significant as Boston, whether we’re talking about the American Revolution, Civil War, so on and so forth,” Bergman said.
