Ready for irony? This is going to make Bill's head explode. I first heard about Emma Goldman's ice cream shop from . . . Moe Bergman. In his role as a docent for Preservation Worcester he talked about it during a stop on a WalkBike Worcester bike tour.
Thank you! Indeed I did know Emma Goldman lived in Worcester for a time and had an ice cream shop. I may have leaned that in high school or junior high - we had some awesome teachers in Shrewsbury in the 60s and 70s :)
