Shannon Teabo and Peter Durant remain neck and neck for the Worcester & Hampshire state sen. seat. With 56 percent reporting, Durant is up by 2 percent.
WBUR has a tracker. It was hard to find lol. But it’s good.
Teabo won Holden, a big surprise I think, and Worcester. Holden results here courtesy Tracy Novick via Bluesky.
The district is composed of a ton of small towns that might be slow to report. Waiting on Rutland, Barre, Ware and Westminster, which is a real place I guess.
Really the only local thing left to follow. Would be a huge upset if Teabo pulls it off.

Results in! Sorta. Grabbed the unofficial off the stream once we hit full 62 precincts reporting.
Here they are, starting with the ballot questions—to my mind the most interesting tea leaves of the night, far as reading tea leaves goes.
Q1 and Q2:
Q3 through Q6:
Q7 - Q9
Great to see 75 percent in favor of legal weed. Quick thought: How are our five abstentions on this question on the city council going to reconcile the fact they didn’t vote in favor of something 75 percent of voters voted in favor of… goes to show how out of step the city council is with the public.
Now the races:
Governor’s council:
And Shannon Teabo taking Worcester by a wide margin in her bid for Durant’s seat.
Looks like it’s still unclear who won. Will be following.
What do we think folks?

No surprises. Just hanging out so far. Dems winning in what races are contested, and Dems winning BIG in the uncontested races.
Worcester riding real hard for legal weed: 75 percent No on 8 with 34 of 62 reporting.
Also yes on 2 (hell yeah), no on 3 (sick)…
Teabo beating Durant in the six Worcester precincts in that district. Not a huge surprise, as Zlotnik won Worcester in 2023, taking 60 percent and Durant took 40 percent, 1575 votes to 1056.
’m watching the results come in on cable access. You can too if you’re a sicko. It looks like this. It’s hard to read and the slides flip through slowly. It’s great.
