I am stuck on an incidental and picayune point: there seems to me some incongruity in the field of practice of the lawyer, Michael Wilcox, if he's representing Enrique Delgado's family because that seems to me to be civil and plaintiff-y, though he could be doing criminal as a victim's/survivor's advocate, but Toomey's case would be just an out-and-out, as you said defense case, either criminal or civil depending on who is bringing charges/complaint (the state or the owner of the struck car). It just seems a really odd combination to me for a lawyer's practice, though not beyond the realm of possibility, but they do tend to develop expertise in one system over another.

Regarding his "honest mistake" of voting "no" on the CRB, a guy that well-dressed cannot afford to screw up in front of the cameras. Too generous, Bill.
