Very helpful in understanding the big picture of what's happening in Worcester. Lately, I've been encouraged to see more folks waiting at bus stops. Ridership is measurable data in support the fare free program.
I also think it's worth noting that many of the affordable units available in the Lincoln Square Boys Club conversion to housing DO NOT include parking. Linking this model of affordable housing to free bus transit may be a positive development.
For a deeper dive into walkability, I recommend City Nerd on YouTube. Although it's generally about cities much larger than Worcester, Ray Delahanty provides an interesting critique of the built urban infrastructure and environment.
Can you get to the point a little faster? I do not know what the issue is here other than some activists want more people walking and biking with less cars usage. I do not agree with "free" bus fares.

Stars exploded, galaxies swirled, a pale blue dot cooled, oceans lapped at shores with with longing, dinosaurs loomed and vanished, apes stood up, fire was stolen, empires rose and fell, the printing press kills oral tradition, the internet atomizes attention spans….and then…finally….mercifully….Worcester, Massachusetts, where on a perfectly ordinary Tuesday a silly lady writer wasted John’s time by forcing him to read a whole feature about a shining example of local transit advocacy instead of just sharting out a tweet with some text over picture graphic he can vomit back onto Facebook with a quick tap. There. You’ve now spent more time reading this than you would have spent just scrolling past the post you didn’t like, that maybe (just maybe like totally and completely and 1000%) was not published solely to please you. My deepest apologies, John if I made you late for your colonoscopy/pickleball club/or whatever 😘
