Great story, Bill... I remember riding my bike all over town back in the '50s and '60s. It was a lot safer then, I think, even though bike lanes weren't invented. In high school, I delivered newspapers by bicycle, even in the winter, in Michigan. Glad to see Bike Life is out there, fighting against the onslaught of the automobile.
