I liked the business about the buses. If you ever decide to do a deep dive on public transportation in Worcester, I'd be happy to talk with you about it.
Also, I was just listening to this episode (usually I will listen to them at some point front to back and not just doing snippets to check the audio or whatever), and I had a funny recollection: The first time I took the bus from Grafton Square, it was a piece of cake getting downtown. Taking it back up here is a little more complicated, but I asked the bus driver how far up Grafton he goes, and he said "oh I go up to the liquor store" and I was like cool, that's right where I need to get off. Turns out he meant the one down by the dead Walgreens, and so the bus turned right on Coral Street and I had to frantically pull the cord to get out and walk up the hill.
Listen to Moe's bloviating at 0:55. To paraphrase his comments, the city is very accommodating to those who want to develop in Worcester. If there are issues, it's usually the developer's fault. Is it the developer's fault when they whine about the Specialized Stretch Code? Apparently, that was not his position when he spearheaded the attempt to "freeze" that code. An unsuccessful embarrassment, by the way.
"industrial grade political gadfly"? Let's hear more from you on a regular basis, Adam. Pure poetry. Do. Not. Sleep. On. David Webb. Kate Toomey said it best, "David Webb has a drone".
Worcester vs Providence: Does Providence have as much effective anarchy as Worcester? We have community refrigerators. Do they? We have Mutual Aid Worcester. We (sort of) have the industrial grade political gadfly David Webb, who has developed a computer program that has filed 1200 unanswered FOIA demands, thereby wrecking the CM's law department. Do people get spray painted in public meetings in Providence? We have Etel Haxhiaj and Ashlie Spring, And we have you guys.
Providence actually has a pretty robust network of radical and anarchist organizing and action, I used to work a lot with FANG and the immigration offshoot AMOR among others.
Providence also has their own offshoot of the HONK! festival, PRONK. Worcester does not, which is a real shame because I think it would have to be called WONK!

Adam I would actually really like to do that at some point, and I know you were and are really central to the organizing that made that happen.

We don’t have a mall that used to have a secret apartment in it; hell, we don’t even have a mall anymore!
